What We Set Up

Every setup is a little different, but most include these.

  • Unboxing and placing the computer and monitor where you want them
  • Windows sign-in, accounts, and your preferred settings
  • Files, photos, and email moved from the old computer
  • Wi-Fi and printer connections
  • The programs you use every day
  • Clearing out trial software you don't want

How Setup Day Goes

1. We bring it to life

Your tech unboxes the computer, connects everything, and goes through the first-time setup with you, so the accounts and passwords are yours.

2. We make it yours

Your files come over from the old computer, your programs go on, and the text size and desktop get arranged the way you like.

3. We connect the rest

Wi-Fi, email, and your printer get connected and tested. Printer offline? Not responding? New printer setup? We can take care of this for you.

Keep your old computer until setup day, even if it’s slow. It’s where your files, bookmarks, and saved passwords live, and we’ll move them over.

What It Costs

Visits are $80 for the first hour, with a one-hour minimum, then $40 for each additional 30 minutes. Parts aren’t included and are quoted separately. How long setup takes depends on how much is coming over from the old computer and how fast your internet is.

No trip fee anywhere in Marion, Citrus & Sumter Counties, and anywhere in The Villages.

Payment is due at the end of the visit. We take cash and any credit or debit card. Returning clients can also pay by check, and your technician may accept Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo when available.

Yes, in most cases. Photos, documents, email, and bookmarks come over. If the old computer won’t start, what can be recovered depends on the condition of the drive.

Yes. We connect your printer to the new computer and to Wi-Fi, install the right drivers, and print a test page.
