What the Visit Looks Like
1. We find the cause
Your tech starts with hands-on diagnosis at your desk, checking the hardware, Windows, and anything else that could be behind the problem.
2. We fix it while you watch
Once we know what’s wrong, we explain it in plain language and get to work. Pull up a chair if you’d like to see it done.
3. We test before we go
A cleanup and tune-up often goes along with the repair, and a dusty desktop gets cleaned inside. Then we check that everything runs the way it should.

Anyone with a Windows computer that’s slow, stuck, or not starting, from retirees in The Villages to home offices in Ocala. Cracked laptop screen or a tired battery? See our hardware page, since those usually take two visits.
What we don't work on
Phones, tablets, and game consoles aren’t something we repair, and printer hardware repair isn’t offered either. For printers, our work is setup and connections.
What It Costs
Visits are $80 for the first hour, with a one-hour minimum, then $40 for each additional 30 minutes. Parts aren’t included and are quoted separately. Most repairs are finished in that one visit. If a part is needed, you’ll get the price before anything is ordered.
No trip fee anywhere in Marion, Citrus & Sumter Counties, and anywhere in The Villages.
Payment is due at the end of the visit. We take cash and any credit or debit card. Returning clients can also pay by check, and your technician may accept Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo when available.
Common Questions
Do you repair laptops and desktops at my home?
Yes. Every repair visit happens at your home or business, by appointment. We work on Windows laptops, desktops, all-in-ones, and mini PCs.
How long does a repair visit take?
It depends on the problem and the computer’s condition, so we can’t promise a set time. Your tech keeps you posted as the work goes, and time after the first hour is billed in 30-minute steps.
What if my computer can't be fixed on site?
Some jobs go better on the bench. In that case we’ll explain Concierge Service, where we pick up the computer for bench repair and hand it back when it’s done. Nothing leaves your home without your OK, and the service call time up to that point is still due.
Is the diagnosis included in the visit?
Diagnosis is hands-on work, so it’s billed at the standard rate as part of the first hour. That first hour covers diagnosis, consultation, and any attempted service.
Can you clean out a dusty desktop?
Yes. Dust buildup can make a desktop run hot and loud, so a cleaning inside the case is often part of a tune-up visit.
