How the Visit Works
1. We check the computer first
Not every machine can run Windows 11. Your tech checks yours before anything changes and tells you plainly what it can handle.
2. Your files come along
Before an upgrade or reinstall, we save your documents, photos, and other files so nothing important gets left behind.
3. Everything set up again
After a clean reinstall, we put back the programs you use, reconnect your Wi-Fi and printer, and set things up the way you like.

Upgrade or clean reinstall?
An upgrade keeps your files and programs in place and moves you to Windows 11. A clean reinstall wipes Windows and starts fresh, which is the better choice when a system is badly damaged. Your tech will recommend one and explain why.
If your computer can't run Windows 11
Some older computers don’t meet Microsoft’s requirements for Windows 11. When that’s the case, we’ll tell you honestly and go over your options, including setting up a new computer and moving everything over.
What It Costs
Visits are $80 for the first hour, with a one-hour minimum, then $40 for each additional 30 minutes. Parts aren’t included and are quoted separately. Upgrades and reinstalls are billed by the time they take, and that depends mostly on how much data needs to move.
No trip fee anywhere in Marion, Citrus & Sumter Counties, and anywhere in The Villages.
Payment is due at the end of the visit. We take cash and any credit or debit card. Returning clients can also pay by check, and your technician may accept Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo when available.
Common Questions
Can my computer run Windows 11?
It depends on the processor and a few security features Microsoft requires. Your tech will check during the visit and give you a straight answer.
Will I lose my files?
Not with an upgrade, which keeps them in place. For a clean reinstall, we save your files first and put them back afterward. On a failing drive, what can be recovered depends on the condition of the drive.
What happens to my programs after a reinstall?
We reinstall the programs you use, as long as you have the installers or account sign-ins for them. It helps to have those passwords handy.
How long does it take?
Most of the time goes into moving data and downloading Windows, so it depends on how many files you have and your internet speed. You’ll have a better idea once your tech sees the computer.
